2023 convention and expo highlights

Here are some highlights from the 114th Annual WPFDA Conference and Expo!!!

MONDAY, JUNE 19th, 2023

The LCBA Sponsored Golf Outing which returned in 2022 was back this year and as was the case last year, was A BIG HIT! Check out these highlights from the outing on Monday, June 19, 2023!

Appreciation Party – YETI raffle drawing winner was announced - Congratulations Kylee, and Debbie Fleming was honored for her years of service to WPFDA! Congratulations on your retirement. Fun was had by all through socializing, reuniting and networking!

The Tuesday Breakfast was well attended!

OUR SPEAKER LINEUP – TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY WAS PHENOMENAL!

We were very well educated by all our speakers! Kahlen Knapik, Vice President of National Mortuary Shipping, Conor Dawley from Highmark Caring Place, Dr. Joseph Marsaglia, Dean Emeritus, Sherrie Dunlevy, renowned speaker, author and renowned Podcaster and Lee Gohmann, FD and educator brought a lot of insight into what is going on in our industry! We were so grateful to hear from them all. Funeral Directors from several states were able to earn their continuing education credits!

The Exhibit Hall was packed this year with a larger variety of vendors! This allowed for additional networking opportunities! We are thankful to our exhibitors who traveled near and far to be with us this year in the EXPO Hall.

Presidents Reception – Included the raffle basket drawing; LCBA announcement of the golf prize winners, Check Presentation for the golf outing Net Proceeds to WPFDA by Matt Barr of LCBA to the 2023 WPFDA President, Steve Sherman II. ! We honored Rick Goble as a Past President and for his year's of service as a Board member on the WPFDA Board.
