2015 Convention Postlude - Letter from the President
Dear members and guests,
On behalf of the 2015 WPFDA Convention Committee and the Board of WPFDA, it is my pleasure to personally thank each and every one of you for your attendance and continued support at the 107th Annual Western Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association Convention and Expo that was held June 22-25, 2015 at the Ambassador Conference Center in Erie.
“It’s a Shore Thing” was a sure success! We as Funeral Directors and Funeral Professionals have busy and stressful yet rewarding careers. This year’s convention allowed us to effectively gain our continuing education with a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We all work so hard and sometimes we need to “Seas the Day”. The Funeral Industry is ever changing and constantly evolving, we work extremely hard to bring you the very best speakers, concepts, and products to help us as a collective industry continue to grow and keep ahead of consumer demands. This growth and progression ensures that the families we serve experience the service they deserve. This outlook rewards our lives, business, and our communities. The Ambassador will be experiencing growth as well for next year with a complete remodel of every room to bring a contemporary and modern feel to the Marriott. A very special thanks to our valued sponsors, Wilbert Funeral Services, Batesville Casket Company, Matthews International, Aurora Casket Company, Columbia Financial Group, Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company, Greek-Catholic Union (G.C.U.) Loyal Christian Benefit Association (LCBA), Media Casket Company, NSS Life Pre-Need, Pierce Chemical.
On behalf of the convention committee and the entire board of WPFDA I look forward to seeing you at the 108th Annual Western Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association Convention and Expo to be held June 20 - June 23, 2016 at the Ambassador Conference Center. Please SAVE THE DATE! I can personally assure you that we are committed to bringing you, your family, and your staff one of the finest conventions in the country.
